Cherry had a holiday in Port Issac, Cornwall, in the summer of 2015 and found several dog friendly things to do!
She stayed at White House Cottage,which is a self catering property up Roscarrock Hill. The house is next door to the building which is used as the doctors surgery in Doc Martin, so there is occasionally the opportunity to watch filming for the series.
There were numerous bowls of water left out for dogs outside shops, Canine corner (next to Fresh from the Sea), The Krab Pot and The Fudge Shop.

Cherry also visited dog friendly Trevathan Farm, and watched the chickens while the humans did some shopping.
One of the beaches in nearby Bude allows dogs, and there are also some nice walks along the canal tow path.
