The polo grounds are set in beautiful countryside. away from main roads. and boarded by shrubbery. Dog drinking water is readily available and the on-site caterer often has ‘dog queues’ for the sausages! The official policy states that dogs must be under control at all times, this does not mean they must be on a lead, but it is advised that newcomers place dogs on lead whilst getting used to the environment.
Dog owners should be made aware that the club usually has resident/ regular visiting dogs on site that are off the lead, and so their dogs will come into contact with other dogs. The polo fields and pony areas are not fenced off from the public and so dog-owners are asked to keep their dogs away from the pony-lines and off the polo fields whilst polo in play.
