The Cart Lodge has been completely refurbished and offers contemporary and charming accommodation for up to four people. In the most beautiful of settings, the grounds are a delight and you will have the opportunity to meet the owner’s alpaca’s, a treat for children and adults alike; there may even be the opportunity to walk and feed them! The living space is open-plan, with full height ceilings, exposed trusses and a large picture window at one end making the space feel light and airy. The underfloor heating ensures that you are cosy in the colder months and the tasteful furnishings and quality linens lend a feeling of luxury to the experience.
Situated on the other side of the courtyard from The Dairy, both cottages could be booked together giving two families the opportunity to holiday together whilst still retaining their own personal space.
The Peddars Walk pathway is close by and you can enjoy walks into Great Massingham (approx three quarters of a mile) where you will find one of Norfolkâs prettiest villages with two large central ponds and the popular Dabbling Duck gastro pub which the younger Royal’s often frequent. The Cart Lodge and The Dairy are part of West Heath Barns and situated in grounds of 4.5 acres so there is plenty of tranquil rural space where you can spend time recharging your batteries and enjoying the peaceful setting!
A one hour complimentary Alpaca walk is included for guests staying at The Cart Lodge.
