English Heritage
English Heritage has over 150 properties across the country that allow dogs to visit with their owners.
Most places specify that dogs are to be kept on a lead, but please check individual property details when you arrive with your dog.
Meg has visited several English Heritage properties, including Tintagel Castle in Cornwall and 1066 Battle of Hastings Abbey & Battlefield in East Sussex.
The cost to enter varies from site to site, but if you think you may visit more than one property in a year, it can be worth becoming a member which gives you access to all properties for a year.
