Abinger Hammer Village Green & Stream

Abinger Hammer Village Green is a lovely place to go for a walk, picnic or a paddle in the stream.

There are two dogs bins on the green – one just in front of the trees to the left of the cricket club, and one on the other side of the stream near the bus stop.

The green can get very busy at weekends and in the school holidays, so if your dog is not good with children it may be best to avoid these times. It has roads on two sides, one being the A25 which is very busy, so you may want to keep your dog on a lead.

A small shop and tea room across the road offers refreshments.

Please note – on the days cricket matches are played, visitors to the green are limited to the side of the green adjacent to the A25.

Parking is VERY limited in Abinger Hammer – the village car park on Felday Road can only hold 8 cars – so we recommend cycling or using public transport. There is a bus stop in front of the green with services to Dorking and Guildford, or Gomshall train station is only a short walk away.

There are no public toilets in Abinger Hammer.
